Getting ready for camping in Japan is also easy, you can rent or buy a variety of camping gear from local stores. Some campsites even offer “empty-handed” camping plans.
【Camping costs in Japan】
Camping costs in Japan are relatively cheap. For a small campsite with basic facilities, the cost per night is less than 1,000 yen.
If you are looking to have a larger spot for auto-camping, more facilities for comfort or stay in the lodge, you would expect to pay 3,000 yen to over 10,000 yen per night depending on the place and facilities.

【Can I hammock camp at Arinomien Auto Camping Ground?】
Hammocks can be used anywhere as long as you stay in your campsite.
However, in most cases, you will be required to bring your own pole as some trees are too far to hang on both ends.
Our camping sheds have hammock poles for convenience.
To minimize tree damage, we encourage people to use tree-saver straps or wrap a piece of thick cloth around the tree.
There are hammock poles at the “Campers Shed Site.”
【Does Arinomien Auto Camping Ground allow fire? 】
Yes, you can make a fire at Arinomien Auto Camping Ground throughout the year.
Fire must be made on the fire pits which are available to rent. You are also more than welcome to bring your own fire pit.
Our Auto Camp Site “JIKABI” has an established fire pit and a tripod.
【Are there any supermarkets/convenience stores nearby?】
There are few options for grocery shopping nearby.

【Does Arinomien Auto Camping Ground have an Onsen (hot spring)?】
Unfortunately, we do not have Onsen in our campground.
There are no hot springs at our campground, but there are shower rooms.
Yuranosato Onsen and Sora no Yu is the closest onsen from Arinomien that can be accessed in 20minutes car drive.

Although there is no native English speaker working at Arinomien, we are trying our best to make everyone comfortable to stay here including those visiting us from overseas.
